“There is just so much on my plate and I feel like I don't even know where to begin”.
Feeling overwhelmed by so many things that need to be done in your business might be a familiar scenario for you. Oftentimes, I see coaches become overwhelmed because they’re putting on items in their to-do lists that are meant to be a project instead of a task.
A task is a single action that takes about 15-20 minutes and can be done RIGHT away without anything else. A project, on the other hand, is something that requires more than two tasks to accomplish and may require some prep work to complete.
There are also such things that we call miscellaneous tasks that may just take less than 15 minutes, even just two minutes to complete. The best way to handle these tasks is to do them immediately.
There are things that we think are going to be bigger than others and there are things that we think are going to be much smaller than others. Really focusing on...
One of my clients asked me how I choose my goals for my coaching business and in this week’s video, I want to share with you exactly how I structure my goals and what timeframe I set in order to achieve these goals.
How do you choose your goals for your business?
At some point in your life, you might have already tried setting a goal. Maybe you didn’t exactly hit your goal and now you have a bit of a hesitation in setting another goal. Or it could be that you are overthinking things or are anxious that if you set a goal, then you’re not going to hit it. If you are in this situation, remember this: There is zero requirement for you to hit 100% of your goal.
When I met the 90 X Planner creator, ALoN, one of the things I learned from him was that If you find yourself not hitting a hundred percent of your goal, simply make a bigger goal because what you're going to then do to try to get to that goal will get you to your actual goal.

I’ve seen so many clients struggle in their business and complain about having to do so many things without making any money in their business. They don’t get the return for what they are putting in their business which really adds to the frustration that they feel.
One mistake coaches often make is that they largely focus on posting on every social media platform out there. This is only the front end of your business, and more so if you are a solopreneur, this creates so much work for you. There just aren’t enough hours in a day for one single person to do everything that would need to be done, including being on all these social media platforms, running the business, being the CEO and creating backend systems for your business.
There's a lot more than just the social media piece when you're trying to grow a business. And if you're not doing the other things, you're not really going to see the growth happening. Trying to manage too many social media...
What I see coaches who are struggling with increasing their sales and getting to $100K in business do is that they are creating multiple offers all the time.
Although it is important to test and try different things in your business to make sure that you have the right product-to-customer match, it is also very important that you streamline everything you're doing to just have one signature offer that you take to a hundred thousand dollars – This is your Northstar offer.
Why should you have only one signature offer, you ask? The reason for that is because it cuts out a lot of extraneous work for you. Just imagine all the energy that goes into launching each of the programs or products you have – whether it’s a course, group program, membership, etc. Having multiple programs also multiplies the amount of work that you're doing on the backend without really producing the results in terms of money. And it's actually costing you money if you have a team...
A lot of times when we're setting a goal and we experience self doubt and the reason that we experience this is because we don't see the exact path on how to get to our goal.
In the many years that I’ve been running my own business, I can tell you this: No matter how much planning we put into place, there is still always the possibility of failing. When we experience failure, this is the moment we end up either continuing to diminish our mindset and go into more self-doubt or turn it around – you don’t worry as much about how you set that goal and be determined to achieve it.
Instead letting your self-doubt define you, it makes such a huge difference to take a look at your goal again and say, “I’m going to do whatever it takes, think of as many strategies as I need and work them all the way until I complete my goal. I’m going to be patient and persistent.”
Fear is normal part of...
How I define work-life balance is feeling like your needs are being met and feeling fulfilled between all of the areas in your life that you have created and cultivated to be important for you.
When people talk about work-life balance, it's as if there are only two areas of life– work and family– and that if you increase time with your family, then you decrease time for your career but that is absolutely not the case!
Thinking that there are only two areas of life that need...
As impact-driven entrepreneurs and people who are creating coaching programs with our knowledge and skills, it is important that we focus on selling and that we are cultivating our relationships with our potential clients so that they can have the transformation that we offer and change their lives.
If we do not sell to our clients, they are far less likely to make a change in their lives even though they have a desire to make the change. They could get stuck with their limiting beliefs because they do not get the support they need nor the wisdom and expertise that you offer that can make that change last and permanent.
It's important that we understand that we can't control what other people do. With that being said, there is a lot that we can influence – we can persuade, influence, show them the value of what we're offering or how this will change their lives, but we cannot control what other people do.
Having this at the top of our...
Online lead generation is the process of getting new people into your circle so that they start to understand what you do, see what it is that you are all about and gain interest and peak their curiosity and interest into your programs, products, and services.
In order to do that, you want to really focus on attracting people and building that relationship and cultivating an honest, genuine relationship with those leads so that they can convert into buyers.
Connections (People you know and their friends)
Your actual connections or people that you know is a great place to start generating leads. Oftentimes I see people who just want to skip this part and not use any connections at all which is a big opportunity missed.
In the beginning, you may feel a bit of hesitation because you do not want to bother your friends and family and that's totally fine. You don't want to come at it from this place of bothering people....
The most important thing that people often skip when talking about productivity and getting more things done is asking themselves, “what is the point?”. To be productive, we want to begin with the end in mind. This means being really intentional about what we want to be productive around, or what the point of all of this productivity is.
I can't think of a better example than when I was growing my business and I was working from home full time on my business while taking care of my kids. I thought, “I want to be more productive”, so I asked myself, “what is the point of all of this? Why do I want to get more done in my business?” It was very clear to me that this meant more relaxed and intentional time with my business and the opportunity to have a lot more alone time by myself because I could then hire a nanny, hire the help that I needed with my children to be able to open up that space for myself.

Struggling coaches often go through some money mindset challenges and make the mistake of thinking that just because they have never sold something for that higher ticket price point, it is going to be difficult to sell or worse, they're not going to be able to sell it. The reality is, just because you haven't done something doesn't mean that you can't do it. Oftentimes, people tend to operate based on past programming or things that happened in the past. If you operate in that way, all you're going to do is recreate your past over and over and over again.
Most coaches are afraid of raising their rates because of this instilled fear that they can never sell their program. Before we focus on the business side of how to do that, it is important to focus around creating a healthy money mindset and reprogramming your brain so that these price points that are next level for you are possible in your mind first, and you are able to do so in a way that is loving and supportive...
